Teaching Your Specialists
Teaching is how you give corrections, set rules, and share knowledge with your specialists. It works like giving feedback to an employee -- the specialist remembers and applies it permanently.
Starting a Teaching Session
- Go to Team Directory and select a company
- Click Teach a Process on any specialist
- A teaching chat opens where you can provide instructions
What You Can Teach
- Correct past behaviour: "Don't send quotes without Greg's sign-off first."
- Set rules: "All invoices over $5,000 need Finance approval."
- Share knowledge: Forward documents, fee schedules, or procedures
- Give feedback: "Keep reports to one page with bullet points."
- Set boundaries: "Never share client financials with anyone outside the partner group."
How Teaching Works
Everything you teach is stored permanently and shapes how the specialist works going forward. Unlike a human employee who might forget a policy change three weeks later, your specialist remembers every instruction you've ever given them -- and applies all of them, every time.
Continuous Improvement
The longer you work with your specialists, the more they understand your specific way of doing things. They learn your approval chains, your exceptions, your preferences. They become increasingly tailored to your business -- through the same natural back-and-forth you'd have with any team member learning the ropes.
