Communication Channels
You don't log into a dashboard to assign work to your accountant. You send them an email. You WhatsApp them a question. LeanCore specialists work the same way.
Available Channels
Web Interface
The primary management and conversation interface at app.leancoreai.com:
- Full specialist management (hire, train, configure)
- Rich chat interface with Work Progress tracking
- File uploads and document sharing
- Dashboard and reporting
Email
Send messages to your specialists via email:
- Email a question -- "Hey Alex, can you pull last quarter's revenue by region?" The specialist retrieves the data and replies with a verified answer.
- Forward a document -- Send them a contract, report, or spreadsheet. They read it, index it, and reference it in future work.
- CC them on a thread -- Loop them into an email chain. They pick up the context and contribute when it's relevant.
WhatsApp
Quick access to your specialists from your phone:
- WhatsApp a request -- "Need the overdue invoices list before my 2pm meeting" Your finance specialist pulls it and sends it back.
- Real-time responses through the full AI pipeline
- Accessible from any device
How It Works Behind the Scenes
Email and WhatsApp messages arrive via inbound webhooks. When a message hits the webhook:
- The system identifies which specialist it's addressed to
- The specialist receives the message as a task
- The full pipeline runs -- planning, execution, review, fact-checking
- The verified response goes back through the same channel it came in on
Your team doesn't need to know any of this. They just send a message and get an answer.
Why Multi-Channel Matters
The fastest way to make AI useless is to put it behind a login screen that nobody opens. LeanCore specialists live where your team already works -- in their inbox, in their WhatsApp groups, in the communication channels they check every day.
No adoption friction. No behavior change. Just a new team member who happens to respond from the same channels as everyone else.
Management Through Channels Too
It's not just task assignment -- management, corrections, and training work through messaging too:
- Correct their work -- "Alex, we can't send quotes to clients before we've had sign-off from the Senior Lawyer. Always get approval first."
- Teach new processes -- "From now on, all supplier invoices over $5,000 need to be flagged to Finance before payment is approved."
- Add knowledge -- "Here's our updated fee schedule for 2026. Use this for all new quotes going forward."
- Set boundaries -- "Never share client financials with anyone outside the partner group."
Every correction sticks. Every new rule is permanent.
