LeanCore billing works like payroll. You choose a compensation package, your specialists work, and you track their hours.
Your Subscription
Every organisation starts with a flat monthly subscription that provides 13.9 FTE-months of work capacity -- that is 2,222 man-hours your AI team can work for you each month.
Your dashboard shows:
- FTE-Months Remaining -- how many full-time equivalent months of work your team can still complete
- Man-Hours Remaining -- the same capacity expressed in working hours
- Budget Status -- Healthy, Low, Critical, or Exhausted
Top-Up Tiers
If your team is busy and you need more capacity mid-cycle:

Budget Alerts
LeanCore monitors your budget automatically and notifies you when hours are running low:

Alerts appear in your dashboard and can be acknowledged so you always know the current state.
Spend Protection
Every team needs guardrails. LeanCore includes automatic spend protection:
- Rate limits -- caps on how fast credits can be consumed (per minute, per hour, per day)
- Circuit breakers -- emergency stop if something goes wrong, manually or automatically triggered
- Anomaly detection -- flags unusual spending patterns and can automatically pause operations until reviewed
You set the limits. The system enforces them. Your budget is always under control.
Zero-Balance Protection
When your budget is exhausted, LeanCore immediately blocks new AI task execution and returns a clear message: "AI budget exhausted. Purchase additional credits or upgrade your package."
